Hi,
Umm....you don't know me, and I don't know you. But I stumbled upon your site due to an odd coincidence with the titles. And although you might think I'm a freak or whatever I just wanted to say that you have a real talent for poetry and that in the darkest times there are always outs for our anger and sadness. I just felt compelled to pray for you real quick, and if you think I'm a total weirdo then I'll totally understand....
God, I pray for Keisha. I pray that you will open her eyes to see the beautiful woman in the mirror that YOU see every day. Lord, show her the comfort available in you. Even in the biggest prison of darkness a single candle can be seen. Likewise in the enormity of the universe, in the vastness of civilization, your light is shining bright and strong, beckoning her to follow. Lord let her know that you actually have time for her, and that you care about every aspect of her with all your heart. Lord, despite her refusal to show certain aspects of her life to anyone, you know about them, and you love her in spite of everything she's ashamed of, in spite of everything she's afraid of, and in spite of everything that lurks in her past. Lord, comfort her and heal the wounds that run so deep. Let her know there is hope in you, even when all hope seems lost. Thank you Lord. In Jesus's Name Amen. (John 14:14 - "Yes, anything you ask of me, I will do.")
So yeah, that's about all I have to say, if I never hear from you again, I'll understand. If I receive hate mail, I'll understand as well. Like I said, you don't know me. I just hope some of what I've said has gone to heart. Thanks for your time,
